Description:
Medieval 2: Total War is the quintessence of all the best that the Total War series is famous for. Armies have become larger, troops - more diverse, battles - fiercer, and enemy generals - smarter and more cunning. The territories you have long occupied do not turn into a calm rear. Frequent uprisings and riots fomented by foreign agents will not allow the ruler to relax. However, military talent and skillful diplomatic work will ultimately elevate you to a single European throne! Supplement "Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms": The Middle Ages - the era of valiant knights and wise kings, epic feats and fierce battles. When rivers turned purple from spilled blood, and the wounded prayed for hours on cold ground for death, in terrible battles the history of people was made. Each ruler re-spun the wheel of war, turning his time into an age of great conquests and discoveries. Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms will take you to the past of America and Northern Europe.
Features of the game:
► Show Spoiler
Live battle. Thousands of armies of all nationalities will converge on the endless battlefields. Each warrior in Medieval 2: Total War has a unique appearance and does not behave like a clockwork doll in battle, but always tries to act according to the situation.
All shelves are in full view. Command a huge army from a bird's eye view of the battlefield, or stand in line with your soldiers using the wide range of zoom and camera rotation.
Journey into the past. The developers reproduced in great detail the appearance of two hundred and fifty types of medieval troops. Uniforms of soldiers worthy of a place in the encyclopedia! A powerful graphics core easily processes thousands of highly detailed 3D models, supports all modern special effects and provides real-time weather changes.
Time does not stand still. The Middle Ages is a very long period of human history, during which military science has seriously evolved. If in the first battles the generals will have to be content with swords and arrows, then in the future they will receive powerful siege weapons and even primitive artillery!
Brother to brother. Having had enough of a single game, be sure to appreciate the network mode. When two talented and equal strategists converge on the battlefield, the battle turns into an enchanting spectacle.

3. After the installation is complete, copy the contents of the PROPHET folder to the game folder.
4. Play.
5. For those who plan to install mods for Medieval II: Total War Collection v1.52 & ALL DLC, copy the medieval2.exe file (for example: ...\Medieval II - Total War\medieval2.exe), received "medieval2 - copy. exe" rename to kingdoms (for example: ...\Medieval II - Total War\kingdoms.exe).
First I installed the Russian version, then the English version.
After installing the Russian version of Medieval II: Total War Collection v1.52 & ALL DLC, I found that in the Russian version there is no sound in campaigns from add-ons, only sound in cutscenes. There is sound in the main campaign.
As recommended by some forums tried unsuccessfully to find and download the missing sound files (for example, the required files have been deleted, missing, etc. by the link to YandexDisk).
Sound files for DLC taken from Medieval 2: Total War RePack by R.G. ILITA - interface/sound: Russian/Russian.
For the sound in the DLC Russian version of Medieval II - Total War Collection v1.52 & ALL DLC download Medieval.II.TW.Collection.Sounds.for.DLC.RUS.zip and extract the archive to the folder D:\...\Medieval II - Total War or after unpacking, make a copy with the replacement of files.

The English version has the required sound files. Didn't check other versions.
I chose the English version in order to reduce the likelihood of bugs and crashes when installing and operating some submods in English.
Works on Windows 10 x64.
