Beschreibung:
Der berühmte Dirigent Maurice, seine Tochter Leslie und seine Geliebte Francine, die nur noch zum Schein an seiner Seite ist, treffen zum „Festival zweier Welten" in Spoleto ein. Maurice unterhält mit der naiven Leslie ein inzestuöses Verhältnis und gaukelt ihr eine Traumwelt vor. Als Leslie den „Theaterrevolutionär" Brian kennen lernt, verliebt sie sich in ihn, schläft aber weiter mit Maurice. Brian flüchtet angeekelt. Auf einer Festival-Party versöhnen sich Leslie und Brian. Maurice will Leslie zwingen, mit ihm und Francine abzureisen, aber sie bleibt bei Brian.

between sexual desire and disgust, Leslies relationship with the
