In der demilitarisierten Zone zwischen Nord- und Südkorea, der "Joint Security Area", werden eines Nachts zwei nordkoreanische Grenzsoldaten erschossen. Der Vorfall löst eine militärische Kettenreaktion aus, Süd- und Nordkoreaner haben unterschiedliche Versionen parat. Beide Seiten rufen die Aufsichtsbehörde der neutralen Staaten (NNSC) an. Für Aufklärung soll Leutnant Sophie Jean (Lee Yeong-ae) sorgen, eine Schweizerin koreanischer Abstammung. Als erste Frau, die seit 1953 dieses Gebiet betritt, stößt sie auf eine Mauer des Schweigens.

But the 11 bullets found in the bodies, together with the 5

Swiss/Swedish team from the neutral countries overseeing the DMZ
suspects that another, unknown party was involved all of which
points to some sort of cover up. The truth is much simpler and much
